Liu Yutang, aative of Dawu, Hubei Province, received his Ph.D.in HistoryfromWuhan Universityand is a Doctoral Supervisor. He formerly served as Vice President and Research Fellowof theHubei Academy of Social Sciencesand currently serves as Chair of the Academic Committeeof theNational Cultural Industry Research Center. He has long been engaged in research on Chu culture, Yangtze River culture,and traditional Chinese culture. He has presided over 10 national and provincial-levelfunded projectsandublished over 20 monographs and more than 300 academic papers.
